We’re pleased to announce that the Fourteenth Court of Appeals affirmed the denial of a motion to dismiss under the Texas Citizens Participation Act (“TCPA”) in favor of our client, M.A. Mills, P.C. This was the second motion to dismiss Defendants John Kotts and Bou-Matic LLC filed under the TCPA. The Court recognized that the 2019 TCPA amendments apply to new claims added after the amendments’ effective date and enforcing the amended statute’s procedural safeguards.
