In Cause No. 2022DCV-3035-C; Sand Revolution, LLC v. Michael L. Mintz, et al.; In the 94th Judicial District, Nueces County, Texas, Buck Keenan Partners Mano DeAyala and Robert Paddock obtained a $9,891,301.46 judgment for the firm’s client, Sand Revolution, LLC, the founder and majority owner of Sand Revolution Holdings, LLC, a sand frac logistics company with operations in the Permian Basin.

Our client developed a unique technology and process to load sand onto frac trucks to deliver to well sites that was more efficient and less costly. As the business grew, our client brought in new investors as minority owners, including Michael Mintz and Avinash Ahuja through their entities. The judgment confirmed an arbitration award finding Respondents Michael Mintz, Avinash Ahuja, Greg Lanham, Dynamic Sand, LLC., and others breached their fiduciary and contract duties to Sand Revolution when they, through their newly formed company Dynamic Sand, developed a scheme to acquire the secured debt of the company and foreclose on its assets.
